Edward D. Hubacher earned his BA in Philosophy as a 1972 graduate of Bethany College in Bethany, West Virginia.  After extensive traveling, he completed his JD degree in 1978 from The American University, Washington College of Law.

 

He has been in private practice in Alexandria, Virginia since 1978, in the District of Columbia since 1987, and in Maryland since 1992.  He is licensed in all three jurisdictions.

He established FireSide Settlement & Title Services, Inc. in 1992 and operates it as an adjunct to his general law practice.  FireSide is a real estate settlement and title company operating in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.  Mr. Hubacher is a licensed attorney and title agent in all three jurisdictions, responsible for making legal decisions regarding the validity, insurability, and marketability of title in real estate transactions.

 

Mr. Hubacher also established For Sale By Owner, LLC to assist homeowners in selling their homes without assistance of a realtor.
